Who is
Bryan Chaffin
Bryan Chaffin is a science fiction author, with his debut novel Accidental Intelligence available for preorder now. For 23 years, he was the cofounder and editor-in-chief of The Mac Observer, and he has contributed to MacAddict and MacFormat magazines. He also contributed to, tech edited, and co-authored multiple For Dummies books with and for the awesome Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus. He’s a geek, through-and-through.
Bryan was a member of The Atomic Love Bombs when the band recorded its first CD, Let It Burn, which was released in 2009. Listen to it, it’s great. He still plays music, and recently released “Chains, Skulls, & Butterflies.” As much as he loves music, Mason and his story occupies most of Bryan’s time these days.
Bryan is also a poker enthusiast, which is where the other half of this blog’s name comes from, but you can expect to write about writing, music, coffee, and anything else that crosses his mind.

He is working on some solo material that may some day be released, but Mason has been sucking up all his time that would have otherwise been dedicated to recording.
