I am thrilled to announce that my cyberpunk thriller Accidental Intelligence won the Silver Medal for Science Fiction in the Reader’s Favorite 2026, one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet.
According to the firm, “The Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest featured thousands of contestants from over a dozen countries, ranging from new independent authors to NYT best-sellers and celebrities.”

Accidental Intelligence Takes the Silver!
I am, as you might imagine, pleased as punch by this. I appreciate the judges who read my novel (and all the other novels), and am just stoked to get this award.
I’m also enormously gratified by the broader recognition Accidental Intelligence has received since its release. It was named a finalist in the Self-Published Science Fiction Competition 4 (last year’s event), earned a starred review from Kirkus Reviews and was selected as one of its Indies Worth Discovering, and now it has a Silver Medal from Reader’s Favorite.

Awards and reviews aren’t why I wrote the book, but having so many different readers, reviewers, and judges respond to it is deeply satisfying.
Yeah, definitely pleased as punch!

Well deserved Bryan!
Thank you, ma’am. 🥰
Congratulations! I am really looking forward to reading it, or hopefully listening to the audio version!
I’ll finish the audiobook sooner or later! I’m maybe 40% through.
